Day 1 – Colonia de Sacramento
Arrival at Carrasco International Airport, our guide will pick you up and drive you to the hotel located in “Colonia de Sacramento town” two hours on the road, this will allow you to appreciate all the beauty of the landscape, once at the Hotel you will check in. After this, get ready for a The first tour that begins with the old town through the «Puerta de Campo» or «Puerta de la Ciudadela», which preserves remains of the original wall that surrounded the city, where you cross a wooden bridge on a moat that in ancient times was a drawbridge and the traveler will be able to enter cobbled and ancient streets of different colors. Next stop is the Matríz Church, the oldest in Uruguay and a white lighthouse, built on the ruins of the San Francisco Javier Convent, which can be visited to have a panoramic view of the bay and which can be seen from various sites of the citadel. Stop for lunch in nice restaurants with traditional and unique dishes.
Next stop, rent a bike and tour in group to “La Plaza de Toros; La Real de San Carlos”, inaugurated in 1910 with the most famous bullfighters in Spain, such a construction was only officially used 8 times over two years, due to a Uruguayan law that subsequently prohibited bullfights. It is a construction almost in ruins but that expresses a lot of history. The best part of this first day, is to stay and enjoy the sunset in the bay from the pier of the port full of sailboats and appreciate the city illuminated only by the lanterns, which create a special and magical atmosphere.

Day 2 – La Pedrera-Horse trips
Early morning breakfast at the hotel, and get ready to get picked up for a transfer by your guides at the hotel with destiny to La Pedrera. Rocha.
The traveler will be able to choose several options from a long 6-day horseback ride to a short one such as the one offered in this itinerary, starting from the “Lomas de La Pedrera” field and connecting with the beach of the San Antonio spa as well as the gullies of Saint Elizabeth. This tour is approximately 3 and a half hours, but if you are lucky and the season coincides, you can opt for the full moon parade at night, a unique and special experience for moon lovers.

Day 3 – Cata de Vinos- Wine tasting
Even though it is a 3-hour trip, back to Montevideo from “La Pedrera”, for the latter we offer you to stop for a few hours on the way at a wine estate.
Learn about the flourishing wine industry in Uruguay. The traveler will be able to visit family wineries and meet with the friendly and knowledgeable owners of each winery. Once there it is possible to enjoy the aromas of rosé wine in a relaxed atmosphere and you can also try a combination of 6 types of red, white, and sparkling wines, accompanied by appetizers, such as local cheeses, bread and cold cuts, a whole rural experience.
Return to the hotel for dinner.
